Game Breeding Station "Aramliets" is situated at the foot of Sredna gora mountain, just 35 km from the capital Sofia and covers an area of 13,500 ha. The relief is low mountanous and the altitude varies from 400 to 1,150 m. The deciduous forests, composed mainly of beech, oak and hornbeam dominate.
Red deer, fallow deer. rpe deer, wild boar and mouflon are the amin big game species within territory of the Station. Quail, partidge and pheasant are the most typical of the small-feathered game.
